About the conference
The Customer Journey in the Digital World Conference brings together scholars in marketing and related fields who study how customers and firms interact in digital environments. The conference focuses on new theories, methods, and empirical tools for designing, measuring, and improving customer journeys, with particular attention to artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and content.
After the 2026 edition at the University of Bologna, the 2027 edition moves to the USC Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles. The conference is a small, single-track forum: two days of research presentations with ample time for discussion.
